Evolution Sports Group
Founded and led Evolution Sports Group, building it into a multi-divisional organisation spanning education, sports, charity, and digital marketing. Under my leadership, we've impacted over 50,000 young people, produced 173 professional footballers, and established operations across 5 countries. Developed innovative alternative provision programmes and post-16 pathways that integrate sports with academic excellence.
Evolution Education
Established Evolution Education as a leading provider of sports-specialist alternative provision and post-16 education pathways. Created innovative programmes that empower young people to become the best versions of themselves through tailored education integrated with structured physical activity. The organisation focuses on developing skills such as goal setting, discipline, teamwork, resilience, focus, and hard work.
100% Sports & Education Centre
Founded alternative provision services providing specialised educational support for students requiring additional assistance. The centre operates two schools and engages with over 2,000 young people weekly, offering comprehensive support that addresses both academic and personal development needs.
UEFA 16-18 Programme
Launched post-16 education programme bridging education and sports, providing pathways for students transitioning to further education and professional sports careers. The programme combines academic qualifications with elite sports training, creating opportunities for young people to excel in both areas.
London Youth Premier League / Showcase
Formed London Youth Premier League, which evolved into the showcase format in 2020. Created premier platform for youth talent development, bringing together top young players from across the country for exposure and development opportunities. The showcase has become a key event in the youth football calendar.
Soccerlution Group
Introduced Soccerlution Group, expanding football development initiatives and creating additional pathways for youth players. The group focuses on comprehensive player development from grassroots to professional levels.
Beyond Programme
Launched youth enrichment and engagement programmes during holiday periods, providing structured activities and support for young people. These programmes have become integral to community engagement and youth development initiatives.
Fulham FC
Led talent identification and recruitment at one of London's premier football clubs. Developed expertise in scouting, player development, and academy management. This role provided invaluable experience in professional sports operations and youth development at the highest level.
Paddington Churches Housing (now Genesis House), Brent
Led comprehensive community development initiatives across Brent, working with Paddington Churches Housing (now Genesis House) to create sustainable programmes that addressed housing, education, and social inclusion challenges. Developed strategic partnerships with local authorities, community organisations, and stakeholders to deliver impactful community regeneration projects. This role provided deep insights into social housing, community engagement, and the intersection of housing policy with youth development and education.
Jason Roberts Foundation
Directed sports and education programmes for the Jason Roberts Foundation, a leading charity focused on using football and education to transform lives in underserved communities. Developed and implemented innovative programmes that combined elite sports training with academic support, creating pathways for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Managed partnerships with professional football clubs, educational institutions, and community organisations to maximise impact and reach. This experience reinforced my commitment to using sport as a vehicle for social change and educational achievement.
Skinners' Academy, Hackney
Led behaviour management and student engagement initiatives at a prominent London academy. Developed innovative approaches to supporting students facing adversity, significantly improving school attendance and engagement. This experience directly informed the development of Evolution Education's alternative provision model.
Recognised in the 'Change Maker of the Year' category for innovative approach to education and commitment to addressing social inequality and youth violence. This prestigious award acknowledges outstanding contributions to special educational needs and inclusive education.
Through 30 years of dedicated service, our programmes have positively impacted over 50,000 young people, providing them with opportunities, skills, and pathways to success they might not have otherwise had access to.

Eugene has held senior management roles in several secondary schools and is a specialist in pastoral care, SEMH intervention, and behaviour support. He founded the 100% Sports & Education Centre in 2022, commissioned by the Borough's Inclusion Team to support students struggling in mainstream school or at risk of exclusion.
